Join us for May Day fun – a great day out for the whole family!

Lots for you to see and do today.

Craft Stalls include ceramics, patchwork, beaded jewellery, wild life art, photographic prints and much more from 10.30am – 4pm (museum open until 5pm)

Visit the Museum’s fund raising area – tombola, face painting and plants

Activities during the day between 10.30 – 4.30 include:

Maypole dancing outside the Village Shop on the Green (weather permitting)

Ely and Littleport Riot morris side will be dancing and inviting young and old to join in at times between 12.30pm – 2.30pm.

Children’s Make & Take table between 11am – 3pm

A Family Trail

20 years ago on 1 May 1997 the Farmland Museum opened to the public at its new site adjacent to Denny Abbey. As part of our birthday celebrations we invite visitors to the Craft Fair to have a piece of cake* and play some party games!

*1 slice per person until cake is eaten

Tea Room open for tasty sandwiches and cakes.
Explore our book shop full of good quality pre-loved books (all proceeds support the care of the buildings and collection)

Normal admission prices apply – English Heritage Members please note as this is an event day a reduced entry fee is charged – no free admission to the Abbey(refer to membership handbook)
