Heritage Open Day - Free entry for all visitors

Visit the Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey for FREE on Sunday 15th September as part of the National calendar of Heritage Open Days.

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest grass roots heritage festival involving over 40,000 volunteers and 5,000 events.

Each September thousands of volunteers across the country invite you to experience local history, architecture and culture. All for free.

A programme of traditional music, activities and crafts will be on offer for all the family to enjoy.

  • Talk by Lorna Delanoy “50 Years of the Farmland Collection”
  • Tours of the historic Abbey
  • Medieval medicinal herbs display
  • Activities for children

Our Docky Box tea room will be open serving a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks.
