We are recruiting a Cafe Assistant

The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey is seeking a friendly, hard-working person to work in our Docky Box Cafe. Applicants should have a flexible approach to work, a can-do attitude and a willingness to ‘pitch in’ and get things done. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to relate to people are essential.

During the last year we have refurbished and expanded our café offer, we are proud of what we have achieved and are looking for someone to join us at an exciting point in the development of our story.

Seasonal, Part-Time contract

Mid-March to end of October 2022

Rate of pay: £10 per hour

The post is a flexible hours position within our open days, Thursday – Sunday from mid-March to end of October. The post holder will also be required to work some Bank Holiday Mondays. The postholder will mainly be required to assist during peak periods in the day (10:30am-3:30pm) with a degree of flexibility in peak/low season as required. If you’re looking for hours to work around you – please get in touch! Term time, holidays or weekend work available. Additional hours will be available to provide holiday cover.
