Tilemaking Workshop with Blended Monkey

Join Louise from Blended Monkey for a day DESIGNING, CREATING & GLAZING your own unique trivet/large tile and 4 coasters/mini tiles on SUNDAY 30 JUNE in the bright and spacious Delanoy Education Room at the Farmland Museum & Denny Abbey.

  • add texture and design to your tiles
  • embellish with 3D elements (sprigs) for decorative pieces
  • apply underglazes to colour (glaze) your finished tiles

The whole procedure will be explained from start to finish by Louise and also with the aid of real-time footage on a large screen showing each step up close.

At the end of the session, you will have designed and decorated one 30cm x 30cm trivet (large tile) and four 10cm x 10cm tiles (coasters).

Once fully dry, all the pieces will be fired and can either be collected from the Farmland Museum, Blended Monkey studios in Upwell or posted out by arrangement)

Tickets cost just £65.00 and include
