Summer at the Farmland Museum: Archaeology Week

Our site holds more than 1,000 years of history and you can explore this from 22nd to 25th July as part of the National Festival of Archaeology.

Become an archaeologist for the day with our fun trail and craft activities.

Our newly refurbished cafe will be open serving a selection of hot and cold lunches, cakes, hot drinks… and our speciality – shortbread tractor biscuits! You can check out our new menu here

Each week of the summer holidays there will be a different theme with corresponding activities for children. All our tickets are annual tickets allowing free repeat entry for 12 months! So you can come to as many activities as you like over the summer for no extra cost.

Please note, there will be an additional charge of £2 for some of the craft activities to cover the cost of materials.

You can find more information on opening times and admission charges here
