Heritage Open Day

A national event celebrating Britain’s heritage.

Free admission between 11am – 5pm Sunday 16 September

Programme includes:

WARTIME OBJECTS FROM THE MUSEUM’S COLLECTION –  by Lorna and Mike Delanoy (11.30am)

IN CELEBRATION – Mike Ruff celebrates in song two centenaries – the end of WW1 and the Emancipation Act of 1918  (2 performances 12.30pm & 2.30pm)

MARY DE VALENCE, THE COUNTESS OF PEMBROOKE – A talk by Museum Manager, Ann Wise  (1.30pm)

Rag Rug demonstration in the Cottage

Tours of the Abbey

Tea Room open for delicious cakes and freshly made sandwiches until 4.30pm.
